CLEARING UP AFTER YOUR DOG
It is imperative that you clear up after your dog. If you feed your dog in the evening don’t feed until after training. Give your dog the opportunity to relieve himself before coming to training. In the event of an accident, clear up and put waste in a poo bag. Make sure you have sufficient bags to wrap securely as you will need to take the bag home to dispose of.
CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR
The indoor school is unheated. Please wear warm clothing. Layers are best. Thermal underwear is good under trousers. Salopettes or over trousers also have their uses. Gloves, scarves or hats can be useful in extremely cold weather. Jewellery is inadvisable.
The area outside the arena can be muddy and inside the flooring is rolled sand.
Absolutely no high heels, plimsolls, sling backs or flip flops no matter what time of year. Walking boots or Wellington type boots/shoes are recommended.
MUDDY DOGS
Make sure your car has covering on the seats or in the boot for muddy, sandy dogs.
HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS
If you suffer with allergies to animals or dust please make sure you take the appropriate precautions.
Offers of help with setting up or clearing away would be much appreciated.
